The rioting in London started in Tottenham and is now spreading to other parts of the city.
Obviously, there are many factors that have contributed to the clashes between young people and the police. One of them is that youth unemployment is now at least 20 percent in Britain.
And the situation for young people is even worse—much worse—in Spain and Greece, as well as in Italy, Ireland, and Portugal:
Right now, London is burning. By the end of the summer, in the midst of the worsening economic crisis, other capitals will likely follow suit.
