Apparently, the chocolate manufacturing giant Mars has written to the owners of the Carron Fish Bar in Stonehaven, Scotland (which claims to be the birthplace of the deep-fried Mars bar), saying it does not authorize or endorse the product.
Why? Because it does not fit the company’s “commitment to promoting healthy, active lifestyles”!
