According to a survey conducted in 2014, the United States had a higher percentage of climate-change deniers (32 percent) than any other country. Britain (24 percent) and Australia (25 percent) each also had a large percentage of respondents who said they did not agree with the notion of human-caused climate change.

In contrast, China, Argentina, Italy, Spain, Turkey, France and India each had more than 80 percent of their respondents say they agreed with the idea of human-caused climate change.

In the United States, only 54 percent thought that climate change is largely the result of human activity.
